Jmvdesign is John Mark Vicente Design.

As a recent graduate of the Communication Design program at the Emily Carr University, I have tailored my skills to focus and apply inter-disciplinary design thinking with major concentration on both communication design and industrial design.

The entries featured in this website portfolio reflect the last five years of work from the Emily Carr University and freelance industry experience. These projects are personal reflections of my understanding of design as an art, science, and philosophy. I have developed this methodology to allow me to apply rational thinking in some of the most challenging aspects in various design processes.

With the knowledge and skill-set adopted from various design studies and real life experiences, I demonstrate great diligence, passion, and exceptional skills through my work to meet the most demanding assignments available. These experiences showcase opportunities in unifying various design principles to explore innovative ways of informing and entertaining equally diverse audiences with differing needs and interests.

This collection of projects has essentially given me the confidence to solve diverse issues, direct team collaborations, and have the ability to further push creativity while still applying a strong sense of macro and microaesthetics.
